Maren Metke is a musician who grew up on an island in the Pacific Northwest, Puget Sound and currently resides in Northern California.

Her music skill, style and interest range a broad landscape and have been described as soulful, harmonic, emotive, bluesy, unearthly, jazzy with a taste of folk, funk and R&B.


She has a powerful voice and presence, and can be found singing at festivals, concert halls, ceremonies, parties, cafe’s, supper clubs, and more. She performs her original work as well as collaborates on many other projects.


Maren recently had the honor of sharing the stage with and opening for John Topper of Blues Traveler, Alan Toussaint, Dr. John and Rising Appalachia.  


She is currently singing along the West Coast, mainly in Northern California and the Bay Area and the Sierra Foothills with various

projects, such as Honey of the Heart (Soul, Folk, World, richly harmony driven project, which she co-fronts with Justin Ancheta), Justin Ancheta Band (Reggae Rock Funk), Blackbird Quartet (Vintage Jazz & Blues), American Nomad (Americana, Folk, Bluegrass & Soul, fronted by

          Hassan El-Tayyab), Power of 12 (funky tower of power style &

               R&B) and Honeysweet (soul funk R&B) and more.
